A friend in WA sent me this while back. He found it while searching for parts for his vintage Porsche restoration project.

Rich said he made one and used it to clean the carbs before rebuilding them. I showed this to my buddy, Don and he made one. He has an old 3x2 intake manifold with Rochester carbs he bought years ago at a swap meet that really needed cleaning up and had just been sitting on a shelf and he has been using it to clean the carbs, the 2 he has done look like new, and then he'll try it on the manifold.

Pretty simple concept really...Don and Rich said it is pretty messy to use and it's best to use it outside. Don was going to get a two gallon pail with a lid and use it to hold the baking soda rather than using the soda box.

Thought maybe some of you might be interested in checking it out

I was telling a bud about this and his reaction was funny. He said it was so simple even he or I could have figured it out, showed just how dumb we were....:sign0020:
