I have a 55 210 del Rey, I can't seem to find an exact replacement of the original dome lens. Ecklers/danchuk offer only one for a 55 and it is not the same. Any info about the interior options would be much appreciated.

Didn't know the Delray was different. :confused0006: First I've heard of that.

I don't know, really could b wrong. The new one looks nothing like what came out. Maybe it's from another vehicle. When I bought the car, the interior was shot, no back seat, really tall buckets welded to the floor boards and AstroTurf for carpet. The original front bench is back in it. Think ill google image dome lens.

If it's a '55 hardtop it should have 2 small dome lights in the rear corners.
If it's a sedan it should have one large dome light in the center.

After 16 years of owning the car I was still able to reach the previous owner. Told me it was from a 50's era mopar. Thanks for the response.

Here's a picture of my domelight, it's a 55 delray which I believe is original.

Del Rey fan,

The one I took out looks exactly like yours, but inverted. More of a recessed instead do coming down to a dome. Here is a pic of the one I got from danchuk. If I could I would like to replace it with the one you have pictured, do you know of a part number ?

Closest looking one to the look of the one delrayfan posted are the HT ones and they are smaller in diameter than the ones for the sedans

I had a dome light in my sedan exactly like the one delrayfan posted, same size as a sedan one, the lens was cracked badly and the chrome surface very pitted so went looking for a replacement. I never could find one offered that had that type of lens from any of the suppliers only found like these from Ecklers: with either white or the 'original' off-white lens

If you want to retain the same domelight and it is a Mopar domelight check on the Mopar restoration sites and see if you can locate one.

Thanks for the input and links. I will check opg for molar resto parts. It's pretty cool looking, wish I hadn't broke it.
