I bought a new heater switch and am wiring that. For the two wires that go from the switch to the connector at the back of the assembly I used like a 12-14 gauge that came with the kit, the originals look like they were about 18 -20 gauge - does it matter? From the fuse box to the connector it is a 12-14 gauge (AAW) wire and from the connector to the fan motor it is the same.

So the question is: Can I use the 12 - 14 gauge wire from the actual switch to the connector?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, the larger wire will be much better. The blower motor may even run faster. The original wire size is too small, IMO.

Cool - I have that baby wired up and ready to go in as soon as I over-come the high-beam issue.

Thanks,

Mike
