On the 2 door hard top, convt, and post body are the doors and quarter panel the same length? Such as is a convertible identical to a 2 door HT with just the roof missing.

On the post model besides the roof and post does it share similar dimensions to the hard top?

Thanks for any info

I know that the panel below the back window is a lot wider than the same panel on a sedan. And they require different quarter panels if i`m not mistaken.

HT and convertibles are very much alike in most areas. Sedan quarters are the same length as a HT, but they have a shallower dip at the beltline behind the door. The doors are the same length on all 2-door cars, including Nomads and other 2-door wagons, but they do not interchange.

The reason why I am asking is I have a chance to get a 2 door post for a few hundred bucks. The roof is crushed. I have a convertible frame. So what I want to do is chop the top and turn it into a convertible. I'll redo the windshield frame with a convertible one and replace the rear panels. I want to avoid having to replace the quarters since these ones are perfect. I need to find some detailed pics of that belt line you're mentioning.
