I am in the process of installing disc brakes on my 55. It has stock upper and lower A arms, drop spindles with intergral brackets for the calipers. The rotors are intergral with the hub. ( I don;t know any brands etc as they came with the car) I have the calipers installed with the bleeder on top and the brake hoses comming out the bottom, facing forward.

I purchased new 16 inch brake hoses but the hoses are to short to reach the bracket where they meet the steel brake line. Any idea why? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks Gary
