How much of the other hardware on a hardtop door needs to be removed in order to remove a door latch?

Window, window channel, etc?

Remove the main window, this gives clearence to remove the rear window guide channel. Once it is removed the latch will be clear to come out. Just remove the clip that goes to the inside door handle release rod, as you remove it.

Thanks, 55WC, that's what I figured.

If you read www.trifive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107283 you will see that this enquiry is related. Was trying to swap out one door latch for another as a means of troubleshooting the closing of one of my doors, but soon realised it would be quite a job.

If you have any thoughts on the other, I sure would appreciate it.

Cheers
