I think some of you are giving him undue stress ,he didn,t say it was worth 265, he said it appraised for that, Grundy appraised mine for over 100,000 $ Is it worth that? Probably not, would I take less , you bet!! No one exspects to make money on that kind of build, but we all will take as much as we can get. OK ,,off my soap box,, Dick

Opening bid was 85K and it failed to make the reserve of 120K US or 130 Cdn. It's now listed on eBay at $120K for the second time and if it sells it sells, if not then I'll simply hang onto it to go with a couple other cars in the barn.

Last time on eBay it hit 90K Nunu.

Awesome car man! If he were asking advice on the price, that's one thing, but he wasn't. Guys...seriously, if you don't like the price, don't buy it. Simple as that. No reason to bash a guy that built a totally awesome car that everyone on this board would love to have in their garage.

I agree on the price, one hardly ever breaks even on a restore like this one. Look at the money people pay for artwork that just hangs on their wall. To each there own.

Thanks for the answer. Did it have the blower when it was last on Ebay? I would think by removing the blown engine you possibly lowered it's value to some potential buyers as you have it tubbed and caged.
