I've never used DPLF. But I have used a lot of SPI epoxy primer. It's all I've ever used since I switched to using epoxy about 5 or 6 years ago.
You might want to try it. It's a lot cheaper and has free shipping if there is no jobber in your area.
I've read a lot of reports over on hotrodders.com where people that have used both and like the SPI better. I never heard a report where someone used both and liked the DPLF better.

you can save a lot of money and end up with more material by using spi epoxy. it is a 1:1 mix instead of 2:1 . it is also much cheaper . it is suitable for a med build surfacer and sands quite well.

2 gals sprayable for the price of 1 gal dplf without acc / reducer.

The SPI is $74.60 per sprayable gallon (unreduced) .
I just ran a figure using TCP Global prices for DPLF and came out to a price of $169.80 per sprayable gallon (unreduced) figuring the 2 to 1 mix and accounting for the quart price of activator.
