I just received my 68-72 Chevelle manual dual master at work and as I look at it, it sure looks like it will be very close to oil dipstick handle if not against it. I have a stock 283 in 57 Chevy. Anybody have experience with this or any pics?

tight squeeze

my '57 210 has the original 283 and four years ago the brakes were upgraded; as you can see by the pictures, the brake booster/master cylinder setup sits almost right on top the oil dipstick, making checking oil levels a bit more difficult

That's what I figured. It's gonna be tight, in fact it may be worse with the manual dual master as it brings the master in closer to the firewall without the booster pushing it out. Looks like dipstick clearance becomes minimal.
