Well i finally found an electric fuel pump for the 57. Now all i have to do is get it mounted and then get the lines run for it. There is hope of getting it running before the summer is up. Terry. http://members.cardomain.com/chevman57
Yeah, mines loud too. I thought the old one that failed was just loud because it was going bad, but it must not have been the case. The new one is as well. I have to run electric because of the tunedport injection and it requires 45PSI. When I get rich I might buy me a tank made for the in-tank pump.
Mike i`m using the stock tank and an external electric pump. I can`t afford the new tanks with the built-in pump, a little too rich for my blood. I ended up buying a Holley fuel pump. My TBI doesn`t need near as much PSI as the TPI does. Will give it a try. Terry.
