Where does the back end of the long spring on the emergency brake linkage under the car anchor?

I looked at the picture in the Assy Manual and it looks like there is supposed to be a bracket on the under side of the body, but I can't see anything close enough for this spring to reach.

Tab is welded to the rear most body brace on the passenger compartment.

If you replaced your floor, they don’t come with that bracket. When had my floor down it was missing. One of the guys hear bailed me out and sent me a spare they had. Has to be welded on.

The floor has not been replaced but the rear driver side pan was replaced. It appears the floor brace is original but that bracket is gone.

I placed a part wanted add in the classifieds. If someone has an old one they don't need, I could use it.

I guess I can make one if necessary.
