Hi everyone,

after fixing some electrical issues, I noticed while driving (mostly at 3500 rpm or higher) a noise, kind of a deep rattle? coming from the motor or possibly the tranny, I can hear it pretty good from inside the car around the tranny tunnel/firewall area.

I thought maybe was a rod bearing but it doesnt do it at idle and it is not really enough of a "knock".

Any ideas? BTW, it is a 66' 327 w/202 heads. Also I just cut out the old single exhaust and fabricated a hybrid exhaust with stock manifolds going to dual glasspacks. There is probably exhaust leaks in the seams.

Was this noise there with the old exhaust ? If not, your new one might be touching the frame of floors. :anim_25:
