Hi i own a 1956 wagon and i need help and tip to stop the exhaust fumes to get in the cabin ,worst is it then i have the driver or passenger windows down.The exhaust goes strait out under the bumper.

Sounds like you may have a exhaust leak. I would start at the front and work my way back looking for the leak.

might want to change to rear side exhaust. :anim_25:

I had the same problem in my '56 Nomad. I moved to side exhaust just under each corner of the bumper and that fixed it. Also check the weatherstripping around your rear window. Exhaust can leak in through that old stuff.

Do you have a stock engine with a draft tube? If so you may want to switch to a PCV setup.
