I'll be following this thread, my AME chassis is going to be shipped on the 23rd. I'm looking at a Pypes system with X pipe with dump flanges and race mufflers.

I had my Frame Rails and Roll Cage components formed by AME for my '37 Chevy Coupe build. Every single component was perfect, again... AME is a great Company !!

Its been nearly three years since I was up there picking up my parts, I did get another Shop Tour. But I don't see how you'd get a "X" section in their frame.

Suggest that you go to their home page, pan down a little to the Blue & White '55 210, you'll see the Text "GT-SPORT CHASSIS,, Click on the photo.. A completed chassis with suspension will load.

Give AME a Call and ask for Brock, He's an expert. Tell him Michael in Molalla OR. says Hello..

last one I worked on,won't take an "X" pipe.
In fact, the frame X member is so big, and cramped, you can't take a manual trans out, w/o pulling the engine.

AME exhaust

Can you/should you do X pipe or H pipe on a AME Chassis
You can't run an X-pipe...

Here are some examples of exhaust we have built when utilizing an AME chassis on a TriFive.

Hope this helps...
