The upholstry in my car (57 2-door 150) is in perfect shape except that it's faded. It's the black cobblestone design but the black on the fabric has faded to a goldish color. I can't see replacing something that doesn't really need replacing. Has anyone had any success in dyeing the upholstry fabric? I didn't want to ask Ciadella; essentially I'd be asking them how to avoid buying their product.

I have seen products similiar to washing carpet with good success, I would try it on an area that you cant really see, we have supermarkets that you can rent them from, do the house first then the car :anim_25:

Years ago I picked up an actual fabric dye at a local supermarket. It was a black dye and I mixed it per directions and used a spray bottle to apply it to my faded carpeting. Turned out well and I was happy with the results. I never tried it on seat fabric but wouldn't hesitate to do it. Try a very discreet spot first.
