Never been to that one... It's on the bucket list... Later, Dave
There are no words to describe carlisle! It is awesome! If your looking for something it's there! And probobly a bunch of them to choose from. All the walking makes my legs hurt for days after! And I'm only 25!! I sound like an old guy. It is an event that every car guy should do at least once, But once you go you might catch the bug!

Hi All,

This coming weekend is Fall Carisle in Pa. Anyone going let me know,if I can get something your lookin for let me know as well.

Jim:shakehands:
This event brings car folks from around the world. It is without a doubt the biggest event of it's kind in the East. You really need a couple of days to cover it all. There are a ton of manufactures, most of the big guys in the resto business. There is also a lot of wheeling and dealing going on all weekend, it is the name of the game at Carlise. Make it if you can, it's something to see, especially if you're looking for something that has been really hard to find.

Carlisle is definately a big deal, good luck driving the last mile! I've found all kinds of stuff there, some deals, and some grossly overpriced stuff. Just like anywhere. Probably not going this weekend, I already have tons of parts for the car that aren't on yet!!

The only problem I have with Carlisle show is you have to be there during the week. It's a waste of time to go Saturday. I went this spring and came home with very little. I did see the guys at OL'55 to get some repro mechanical parts. A 3 hour drive too! People were packing up at 11:00 after we paid 10 bucks to get in at 8:00. I kept hearing you should have been here thurs or friday. Eeeekss Jim

I may take a ride out on Friday morning. Leave at 5 am and get in early plus beat alot of turnpike traffic.
Never been to fall Carlisle. Did Corvettes at Carlisle for 13 years (3 days)
. Always searching for that elusive Mid Year part, or straight axle part. But unfotunatly Bad Knees and GREEDY people who thought they had Gold and priced parts that way put an end to that.
Maybe I'll find a set of ceramic coated headers for the 57/210 sedan I just bought.

Got alot of my parts for my 57 chevy when I was restoring it. Spent all day there looking. So much to look at. My back was feeling it. Love going to this. Just wish i had more money to buy stuff. One good thing is I only live about a half a hour away.
