Hi.

Back from Las Vegas and with a fantastic experiance, i got to drive a Super Comp dragster 7 times on Las Vegas Dragstrip.
It was an dream come true to learn and feel the power when you let go off the transbrake and i also manage to get my NHRA licence. :burnout:
It is very addictive and i would for sure do it again if i get a chance. :tu

Yes Rudy i did 8 laps with a Nascar at Las Vegas Speedway on friday.
It was a lot of fun but also a little diffecult to follw the instructor 3 car lenghts behind in 135 mph not to drive but to keep the distance and not get to close or to far back.

Here is a video i found on You Tube that give you the feeling how it is.

Thanks all. :wavey:

Yes it was a great experiance, there is only two things:
there is not so many dragstrips here in Sweden and its maybe a little late to start a dragster career at my age (54)

But it is absolutly addictive and fun. :tu
Owe, you have to move done to the south, where it all happens - I live only 15 minutes form MECA Raceway in Malmo :tu

Then just to add a very appropriate quote from an old Monty Python movie

"You lucky, lucky b*st*rd!" :D :D

I know Thomas i sure got the most out off this vacation, Las Vegas is like a big playground for car guys like us.:tu
About moving south it would be great but too much things hold you here in Gothenburg.
But i am a little bit jealous that you have that nice dragstrip so close. :D
