So I finally got around to adding my pics of my 55 from start to pretty much finished. Check them out in my albums, let me know what you guys think... A little history is that i bought this car from my uncle who owned it for 18 years prior. I drove it for a year and then decided to fix the hole in the dash from a tach, and little things and just throw some paint on it. Well as I know and all of you know one things leads to another. Found a hole in the quarter so i did the quarters, etc. This is the first car I have restored, and i have never down body work or painted before. I had help over the phone from a good friend on how to paint and do body work. Everything went well with that. The pics of the car in my driveway is where i painted it no tent or anything, and the paint came out extremely good, had a few painters look at it after and said it came out good. I decided to tackle the interior my self and with the site and specially terry i was able to do everything from headliner to refoaming the seats to the covers. The motor was a small block that i decided to rip out and sold it back to my uncle that i bought the car from, and put in the 402 bbc. Some know my story about wiping the cam on start and i had to have the whole thing rebuilt again. Went with a full roller and well worth it. any how i wanted to give a Big THANK YOU to all tri-five members for support and help. Thank you eveyone.

Nice looking car, great color combination. What company makes the wheels?

And what a great job you did on it. Great car and family. The pics with the family and the car together are priceless and will surely be enjoyed many, many years from now. Sure wish I had included family in my car pics back in 1978. Oh Well Hindsight. Best regards  Lloyd
