Hello All,

My name is George. I am about to take possession of a '57 4 door sedan, in less than great shape...not my first choice, but it's all but being given to me, so I won't complain. This is my first venture into the classic car world so I'll have like a million questions.
Oh, and the screen name? I play bagpipes with the Fort Vancouver Pipe Band in Vancouver, Washington. See you all on the forum.

Welcome, George! Nice to have a "non-Mike" on the site! If you only have a million questions, then you must be pretty well informed already, so start spreadin' the knowledge!

Bagpipes, eh?! There's an annual bagpipe parade (for lack of a better phrase) in my little town here in South Florida (Tequesta is the name of the town) and you can hear those things for what seems like miles! I'm Irish (and lots of other stuff too) and I know nothing about bagpipes other than they sound pretty good once a year!
