I don't know the exact width of a 69 Mustang 9" axle, but it has to be very close to the same as a 55-57.

$200 is a charity price, especially if it has limited slip, even if worn. I don't think you can go wrong, even if the internals are trash.

Many people use the Mustang rear ends in early Camaros, so it should be about right for the '55. A Mustang 9 inch shouild bring a pretty good amount of money from a Mustang restorer. Might be worth getting it and reselling. Once you modify it then the value drops way off.

When I was much younger & stupid I put a 69 Mach 1 piece of junk 9 inch under a 67 Camaro. I did not even change the perchs for the swap, They are the same width as early Camaro or 55-57. They are worth pennys on the dollar compared to a 12 bolt. I have had a 4.88 Mustang tractiuon lock for sale for years.

FYI I dont think the seller really knows what he has 69 Mustang ratios are 2.75, 3.00 3.25 & 3.50 etc. I have scrapped several 100 Ford 9 inches and never seen 3.36 gears.

That's not a complete list, I have a 3.91 gearset myself, that was Ford built, has the oval logo on it. 3.0, 3.25, and 3.50 are the common factory ratios in the low 3's.
