I had the body assembled and the put the front part of the fresh air ducts in the part above the headlight but not the part that attaches to the firewall. Is it poss to install that piece with fender on or not?
I've done it however I had to basically unbolt the fender from the car in order to have enough room to get the rear fresh air duct in. It's not as bad as it may sound, leave the inner fender bolted to the outer but remove the inner fender to cowl screws, leave the radiator support bar , loosen the hinge to fender bolt ... have someone pull the fender away from the cowl area carefully then maneuver the duct in place, attach duct after fender goes back on... 3 screws from inside firewall, 1 from under inner fender to duct brace, attach cable and seal from front duct to rear. hope this helps good luck!
