No way was I going to cut the new door panels, won't fit in kick panels but fit's perfect in fresh air vents that we won't be using.:)

You will be losing a ton of sound quality by using those vent holes, way too far under the dash and a lot of the sound will go up under the dash and resinate around. They would work alright for a woofer, but any sound higher than that will get lost.

I removed inspection panels from my doors and mounted speakers there.
I agree with Randy about the sound quality in the vent. I get the space in door as resonance chamber.

Dave,
I have to disagree, somewhat of the sound quality. Sure, you're going to lose some but, I have heard worse. I have 4 Infinitys, no sub woofer and 300 watt amp.

Besides, they're virtually invisible...

I say go for it! Not using my vents either. Have VA. Note; make sure you seal up the door before you mount the speakers.
