Im needing some help. Does anyone know the bearing numbers in timken that will replace the front bearings on my 55 Belair I want to from roller to tapered. Thank You
Get some front hubs from a 61-68 full size Chevy car, and use the bearings and grease seal for that car. They bolt right up and the stock drums slip right on.
Rick L has the right idea....The hubs are pricey, if bought new though....Might as well go to front disc brakes, if you have to buy them at that price IMHO.
They will if you remove the original inner bearing race.
