I have noticed that whenever I look under the hood at the fuel filter it is always empty, is this a sign of a problem or is it OK? I know in any of my other cars the fuel filter always has fuel in it so it just seemed odd to me. :confused0006:

Hank i`d say it was a bad fuel pump letting the pressure bleed off while it sits.

My Camaro has been like that for years. Never had any problems, but it worries me why it does it also.

I was thinking the fuel pump as well as the filter sits right above it and lately it has been taking a little longer to start it...most likely due to the lack of fuel in the line. Do you think this is something that needs replacing or just deal with it?
