I bought a used set that had the provision for the gen bracket cast into it on the right side.. Not 2 1/2's though. If you look on e-bay I think you will find 2 1/2's with the ear on both sides.

You can make/ buy a plate and spacers similar to what they do for headers, good day.

Do you have accessory holes in the heads, if so a 69-72 Truck/70 something Vette is the best SWP alt bracket ever built. But I am not a fan of aftermarket junk.

Any v8 68-72 Chevy pickup should have what you need, as long as you have a short water pump and tapped head ends. If not, you can adapt the header brackets to fit. You'll probably need a slightly longer belt though. Jeg's, Summit, Speedway all have the brackets.

Short water pump, no bolt holes in heads....Do not want to grind one side....Putting alt on driver's side....Should be able to make a bracket like Henry suggested....Thought maybe somone had done it before.
