I have a 1957 210 wagon with a 283 and a generator. My son would like the old girl to have a better sound system. Any suggestions as to Amp needs and other info you can share

Hey Stubby, I bought a brand new chrome plated 105 amp alternator on greed-bay for about 58.00 plus shipping. I got the wiring kit from Crazy Lights also on greed-bay. Use that big chrome alternator adjusting bracket from Mr. Gasket about 14.00 . You will also need the bottom alternator bracket from Ecklers. Theirs has a oval shaped front hole necessary to line up with the original rams horn exhaust if that it what your using. You may also have to grind down the front mounting bolt head so the alternator can be moved to adjust the belt. Jim
