@lamburgey Glad you and Cindy made it home safe and sound finally...Y'all sure had quite a tiring day....How did the A/C work?
After the second time my car got brought back home on the rollback, i got AAA. The highways i travel back and forth to my weekend place are contract towing with the turnpike authority, and in the contract there is something about having trucks on the road, so occasionally you just see them sitting around. when i needed a tow, it was about 4 pm on a Friday, and no one was available, so yeah, i was there for a while as well, and the contract tow picked me up, so i figured i might as well get AAA. i have Hagerty, but not sure where they were magically going to get a tow truck from when i couldnt. At that point, i wasnt going to be choosey about a tow truck, i just wanted to get off the road. Getting towed sucks. its never going to be a fun quick experience.

I didn’t go into all the gory details in my comment. I was told :A 4hr wait is totally ridiculous.....
1. The tow truck will be there within an hour( never happened) I called back an hour later and was told it was never dispatched to a driver.
2. No trucks available it may be the next day .
3. I am the supervisor and I will call you back with an update within 40-45 minutes. No call ever happened.
4. Coles Towing is scheduled to be there within an hour. I called Coles Towing and they said they had no drivers scheduled with AAA.
5. Clinton Towing will be there in an hour and driver will call you. Driver did call and did show up in an hour. Loaded car and driver said we had to stop for diesel. OK , no big deal. Then when we stopped driver called company because he didn’t have enough on the credit card to buy enough fuel to get to drop off and back. I ended up giving the driver $40 for fuel!

By then I would have had a stroke because my BP would have been sky-high. Sorry you & Cindy had to endure that. I would have started drinking again....lol

Am hurt Out of all people thought you have my back, no throw me under the bus. The a/c put too much strain on the transmission. Old red likes the trailer life hadn’t been on the back of one lately.any chance we could blame this on Jason?? wasn't he the last one to work on old red??
