Hello. I have a 5.3 from a truck and was thinking of purchasing the edelbrock 7118 for it and using a carb. I just wanted to know if anyone out there has done this and how they like it. Thanks for any info.
I agree keep the EFI if it is going to spend 90% of its time on the road. With EFI you can drive from sea level to 12,000ft and never worry about a carb going out of tune, running too rich or too lean.
Once set up properly you never mess with them...usually
