Like most everyone, I had a couple of problem spark plugs, #5 and #7. There wasn't room to get a socket on the plugs, no room for an open end or boxed end wrench. Thought an offset box end might work, but not to good.
Finally had to build a wrench. cut the end off an old 5/8" short socket, which allowed it to slip over the plug and grip the hex section. Welded that to an old open end wrench and offset it a little. It worked great. Then I decided, why not weld the other end of the cut off socket to the opposite end of the wrench. That lets you have the leverage of a ratchet if you have room.
Not pretty but worked perfectly!
