I'm installing a 350 in my 56. I have a set of Ram's Horn manifolds complete with the exhaust thermocouple that directs exhaust into the intake to aid in cold weather running.

I would like to run headers, however, would also like a way to put heat to the intake during cold weather start up.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

IMO, you should really not need a riser from the exhaust. The intake should have a cross over under the carb which would heat it enough.

If you are in a really cold climate, or feel you must have one, they make adaptors that clamp to a header primary tube.
