okay guys got a 305 small block in a 55 chevy. new paint, many new gaskets, new intake with an hei system . If I hook the coil wire to the battery it will start and runs pretty good but can't shut it off, have to unhook wire. . however if I hook to the on side of the switch will not start. although on one ocassion when I was turning the switch to the off position it seemed like it wanted to fire. can you hep me out guys? where should I hook that coil wire to? thanks fellows you are the best.
