I'm Brad from Southwest MO, and I have a '55 Cameo I got from my Grandfather 30-some years ago. When I got it, I decided I'd take it all apart and do a full restoration from the frame up.
As is the case in many of my life's projects, I was really successful with the "taking it apart" phase. Then, daunted by the complexity, and cost, of putting this thing back together, I forgot about it until recently.
I'm hoping I've gathered enough skills, wisdom, and money to get back to it.
Thankfully, I've stored everything in a somewhat dry facility (read: Dad's barn) and I won't have to start running down a bunch of new parts unless my little brother has sold half of it behind my back!
I'm glad to be here and plan on learning all kinds of things from you guys.
So, hello
