Thought I'd drop in and say hello. Great site with lots of great posts...
I have a 55 210 I inherited from an old friend and neighbor when I lived in Merced CA. It was drag raced and abused (in a good way) all its life. When Bill died, his wife passed it on to me. It was just about used up from top to bottom, so I embarked on a labor of love and brought it back the best I could. I kept it as stock as possible, but added a ZZ4 crate motor backed by a Muncie 4speed (it was a three on the tree) and a 12bolt posi rear. Disk brakes and a sway bar up front. It hauls ass just as it always did and I bang through the gears it when ever possible! I've had it for about 15 plus years and still get a rush every time I fire it up!
