[49cadillac]

My last '56 Chevy went away from me in 1961 and I finally got back to one recently - this time a Nomad. In between it has been Cadillacs especially the '49 which is amazingly like the tri-five Chevys. The same guys who designed that first OHV 331 Cadillac engine for 1949 went on to do the small block for Chevrolet (Ed Cole and Co.). All good - but my goal this time is to get to an LS engine which amazingly is still based (not much anymore) on the 1949 Cadillac engine design.
