Hello everyone! I am new to the site and want to introduce myself as 55Rag. I own a 1955 Bel Air Convertible, my father handed it down to me and it arrived the same day my wife and I found out she was pregnant, a GREAT DAY! My kids love it and call it the "Ice Cream Cruiser". After a car show we always go out for Ice Cream. Well I look forward to our interactions moving forward.

Welcome to Tri Five. Sounds like what these old rides are all about.

Hi 55Rag, Sure glad you have joined us, we need more '55s and what better '55 than a convertible. You're sure looks good, a show winner I'd say. I have been to Conn. a few times, had an aunt and uncle live in Stamford, back in the 60s and 70s when they had a Boss in every town. Was in the service with a guy from Conn., Kent Shaffer was his name, don't know which way he went when I shipped out overseas. Enjoy the kids, buy them plenty of ice cream, that season in almost over. Charles :wavey:

Thanks to everyone for the kind welcome! Looking around the site I see alot of georgous cars. It stinks the season is getting close to being over, but will make the best out of the last few weeks I have to ride with the top down. Thanks again!
Thank you Don...kind of wish I was in California with the nice weather to be able to enjoy the car all year round.
