Ran into "bama boys bumpers" at the crusin on the coast. need my front bumper rechromed. Can anyone give me any info on these guys? Do they do a good job on rechrome? fair price? time frame? Thanks in advance for any help--:)guy wanted $500 to rechrome front bumper on 57---california bumper

Was it Tommy that you talked to? Bama Boys did some work for me and treated me right and fair. I also have a couple of friends that Tommy has done work for. Both came out great and was fair priced.

Although my bumpers we're done long ago. Make sure that they grind and plate behind the bumper properly. If they dont the chrome on the backside will flake off and rust. My bumpers are extremely nice, but this is the downfall to them.

Chuck he isn`t asking about "bumper boyz". He was asking about Bama Boys Bumpers, 2 completely different companies. And Bama Boys do very good work.

Since the thread strayed from bama boys, I'll put in a plug for Sioux Plating in South Sioux City, NE I just had my 57 bumpers plated. It took 2 months, but came back BEAUTIFUL!! My kind of jewelry! 5 pc front $410. 3pc rear $320. But then shipping wouldn't be cheap!

MickyM521: I think 57 bumpers cost more to plate because they're bigger.
