My TriFive car is from the next decade. A 1966 Chev Impala Super Sport convertible with a 396 and turbo 400. It is not perfect, but is a "very" good driver, that I do drive about 3000 miles a year. A real fun car.
Welcome aboard Raagtop! I knew a guy back in 70? 71? that had a 66 Caprice two door that had a 396/400 from the factory. It was showroom condition then. It had a climate control AC/heat. I don't remember seeing once since.
My brother in law had a new 1967 SS 396 Chevelle. It was stolen from in front of his house in 1968. He never got over it and swore he would never had another one. Before that he had a 65 Wagon with a 396 in it. Very nice Family car for sure!!!
