It all started with a small oil leak. Wasn't sure if it was an oil pan leak or filter leak. I decided to fix the leak and the next thing I know, the 55 is in the body shop, getting new paint. Actually one thing lead to another. We decided to pull the motor to make sure we had the leak fixed. Figuered that while the motor was out, we should just have it gone through and have everything checked out. We found a couple of little things wrong at the time. (Broken motor mount, cracked base plate on the Holley) Then we started thinking, while the motor is out, why not "freshen up" the paint. Plans are now to repair some body rust and give the 55 a whole new 2 tone paint job. Gee, it started out so simple :)
I will try to post progress pictures.
