i was wondering how hard is it to remove the vent windows and just have a single piece of glass move up and down,i would like to stop the wind noise from the vents and i was hoping someone could post a picture of it done ,i would really like to see what it looks like,thank you

Has been done before, there were some posts regarding having a full piece of glass fitted, on some models it doesnt look bad :tu

my 57 was that way when I got it, i would rather have the vent. keep it closed works the same way as not having it anyway. :damnmate:

Don, I done it on my 56 4 door sedan. You have to cut out a section in each door that divides the wing from the door glass. Its easy with a sawzall but you got new paint. I'd use a long blade so more of its in the door. That way it won't pop out and go across some paint. You have to get creative with masonite or plywood for a glass template cause noone makes it for a 4 door. I think it really cleans up the look. Would look great on your 55
