Thanks, I will research that.
Thanks, I will research that.A vacuum bleeder is about 30 bucks and is handy
Oh I know that one well! I remember learning early on that a regular GM part would be the same as a Vette part but they would give it a different part number to charge more :OIt’ being a Corvette you are already paying double for everything else you buy for it. Ask me how I know 😊
Replace the master cylinder and save a bunch of time and fluid. The booster's been replaced, but not sure about the MC. I've just ordered a pressure bleeder from Summit, and hope to give this a shot on Sunday.
Mine was a 76. What color exterior and interior? Mine was a low production color, Buckskin with a Buckskin interior. It's a C3..
Seriously, it's a '76.
It's Classic White with Buckskin interior. It's pretty plain jane, but still gets alot of looks!Mine was a 76. What color exterior and interior? Mine was a low production color, Buckskin with a Buckskin interior.
In my opinion those flat glass C3's are the best looking of all the Vettes.
Sounds like a nice one! I spun a rod bearing in my L-48 350 and ruined the crankshaft. Being I was needing a new crank anyways I bought a stroker kit along with some Wiesco pistons. I also put on some late 90’s Vortec heads and some Hooker full length headers and all that really, really woke that Vette up.It's Classic White with Buckskin interior. It could really use a paintjob, so I keep bouncing back and forth on keeping it original, or, just having fun. I also have a growing urge in me to pull the tired mill out of it and drop in a fresh 383.![]()
So I have question on this: if I use the pressure bleeder that I just got, do I also need to level out the master cylinder as well?I recently sold a C3 Vette that I had owned for close to 10 years and brake bleeding that car was far different than anything else I had owned. A power bleeder is your friend with a Vette and lifting the rear end of the car so the master is level was another great tip that I found out about.
Yessir! So I have question on this: if I use the pressure bleeder that I just got, do I also need to level out the master cylinder as well?
it is helpful but not absolutely necessary. most helpful when disconnecting the pressure bleeder. So I have question on this: if I use the pressure bleeder that I just got, do I also need to level out the master cylinder as well?
