This all depends on color how much of the inside and underneath you have to do. If the color you plan to use is a easy to cover color you will need less than on that is more transparent. Also consider asking the supplier to tint your sealer to a close match so it will be easier to cover. It is nothing to need a gallon and a half to do a whole outer and I like an extra quart or more for safe keeping. If you get extra I like to pour some from each container into each other to guarantee a perfect match if something comes up later.
