I have the TV cable, throttle linkage, and carb geometry 100% dialed in on my 700r4 conversion. I have the TV cable adjusted to bottom out exactly at 100% WOT. From all of my research this should be the ONLY way to set it, and it should not be altered to adjust shift quality.

WOT from dead stop, I'm getting good spread on 1st year (approx 30mph) and 3rd gear (approx 70mph) BUT I can't get 2nd gear to spread out under WOT...it shifts too early at approx 35-40 and bogs the car down.

What components of the 700r4 will address this? (again, NOT adj the TV cable. It's stayin' where it is.) I'd like some ideas so that I can give my installer some suggestions next week.

Thanks
Ace
