Sounds like a new product. A little welding, seam filling, rechroming and wah-lah (or something like that) a smoothie...
I'd consider that if I didn't have to pay $500 for the bumper. Wish you could buy it unchromed.

But my main point is why did they make a 1-piece bumper that uses guards when the demand seems to be for the smoothie? You can't even tell a 1-piece 56 bumper from a 3-piece when the guards are on. :rolleyes:

They will have it. Who knows when? It took a long time to get the 55 smoothie.

Of course a guy like you should want to narrow the bumper a bit, maybe make some other mods, you may as well start now. :)
I thought about doing that, but I would have to modify the splash pan. I've changed enough on this car and need to get it on the road. Maybe I should just put the guards on it and call it good. LOL! :)
