Hi everyone. I'm looking to buy a set of ignition points for my '55 265 engine. I would prefer NOS AC Delco if that was possible. Would prefer them to be made in USA. I checked Autozone who has them and they were made in Brazil. That's different. Checked with NAPA who also has them and they can't tell me where made. I'm sure other vendors would also have them. Rockauto is out of stock. Shoot me a PM if you have something you think I can use. Many thanks, Carmine.

NAPA points are Echlin and made by standard ignition USA made

If you don't find your original "Made in the USA" parts, I've got brand new in the box Standard DR2270P points and DR70 condenser, both made in Mexico, and a few big bottles of Standard points lube as they shipped me a case and the seller never responded when I asked if they wanted the rest of the case back as even one large tube is a lifetime supply.
I brought them to Canada to put on my '55 when I bought it, but it already had Pertronix ignition installed so I can't see ever using these. Let me know if you can use them and I can drop them in the mail.

The DR2270P do not fit a stock 55 or 56 distributor, They fit 57 up single point distributors.

Oops. I remember now mine has the '57+ cap on it so that must be why I bought these. Thanks for the clarification and saving me shipping parts just so they can sit on Carmines shelf instead of mine.

The DR2227PT are for a 235 6 cylinder, He has a 265 V8.

I've had those distributors before and they worked fine. But, I want to keep this engine as close to stock as reasonably possible. I have a '62 283 distributor all set up and ready to go, but changed my mind on using it. That one would have made it much easier for me to set the points, so instead, I'm going to install an original point set, Carmine.
