anyone have any experience with this. my mounts are gone, so might as well go this route. figured id just get som c channel steel and put it in there, then cut the excess off
anyone have the measurements of were to cut the holes at, or can someone measure to see how far there stock mounts are from the rear of the frame

Some of the dimensions you're asking about are in the assembly manual. The front spring eye is centered on the hole in the frame at the bottom front of the hump.

Are you going inboard of the frame rails, or inside the frame rails? I'd recommend the latter.
