You were lucky to get a freebe... I found mine on evilbay 10 or 12 years ago and with shipping cost me over a hundred bucks... It was NOS piece and I did save the box... About a month later they started repopping them for a lot less than $100.00... Later, DaveVideo from in the car.
Got the wolf whistle about 15 years ago. Seen it in the basement at a customers home while on a service call. Got to talking with the old fellow, then outa the blue his says take it with you!
With practice they do. The tone is controlled manually via a line connected to an air valve on the whistle. It runs off engine vacuume.Do any of these wolf whistles have the other half of the tone? You know, the downward tone that lets you express your appreciation of legs that go all the way from the ground up?
(Insert any classic cartoon of a wolf in a zoot-suit whistling at a pretty girl)
Hahaha, that's halarious!Be careful with the pull wire. I had a buddy with a horn like that in high school, I reached under his dash to honk at a pretty girl and pulled one on his dash wires out, got a puff of smoke too! He wasn't very happy with me...:sign0020:
