when installing a manual steering box must the lower a-arm be removed to make clearance or should i be able to install without?any tips on how anyone installed theres is appreciated oh forgot to mention i have after market tubular a-arms from ccp on it thanks for any help

Take it out\install it from the top. Move the alternator, generator and whatever else maybe in the way up there.
I just did this a couple months ago with my 55 and it worked great.
Of course you have to remove the column and all too.
But that's not so hard and it beats taking off the lower A arms and all.

thanks

thanks for the tips.took radiator baffle off took headers off and slipped it right in.and to think i was laying underneath the car friday night convincing myself the lower a-arms had to come off!!!!!thanks again for saving me alot of frustration
