Hi all would like some input
I am installing a quad jet on my 305 which now has a rochester 2bbl.
I'm doing this in hopes of better gas millage as the quad has small primaries.
The Question is this which intake manifold would be best ?
A stock cast iron or an alum.
Other than weight is their any advantage.
I noticed not all Alum intakes will fit with stock iron heads.
The eng is in a 55 belair but out of a 77 nova.

Thanks for the help

An Edelbrock Performer (2101) is a good choice for a street engine, good mileage, idle, and light weight. It has a dual bolt pattern for the Holley square bores and also fits spreadbores like the Q-Jet
