What paint would be the closest to the stock chevy black for gloss on the interior? Would there be one that would be base-coat clear-coat? Also under the hood and brackets, what has been used to get the stock sheen. They used to make a flattner for the acrylics but I have not painted with any of the new types of paints that would hold up better then the old school. Thanks for any suggestions.

Onyx Black is what was used and should still be available.

Underhood, inner fenders, radiator support panel etc etc was semi gloss black.

New style is BC/CC (base coat & clear coat):anim_25:

interior paint

Thanks for your answers. The onyx black in gloss for the interior sounds like it should be correct. I will talk to the Eastwood company about the correct under hood sheen.
