On a 55 is there a difference in 150 and 210 steering wheels? Besides no chrome horn ring. Also on the 150 horn button, are they the same on the 55 and 56? I got a buddy needing a 150 steering wheel for his 55. I have a couple from 210s but I don't know if their different :confused0006:

I'm 99.9% sure the wheel is the same between 150 & 210 for 55/56. The cap is 55/56 150 only.

The horn cap is the only difference the 210 uses a ring and the 150 only has a cap in the middle and no ring

There is a recess in the spokes for the horn ring, is there a 150 wheel that doesn't have the recesses?

There Are Two

I often have noted two different version offered for sale advertised as original.

One offered with two spokes, and the more popular three spoke version.

I believe the three spoke version is the Bel Air?

I know there's a 3 spoke and a two. The million dollar question is - a 210 wheel the same as 150???? I called two parts guys today and one said yes and the other said NO. One guy has a 150 horn button but no wheel. So if the 210 wheels the same as 150, I can help my buddy out

From the drawing in the assembly manual, it looks like the 150 and 210 wheels are the same. The 150 has a recess in the spokes, where the ring goes on the 210. http://www.trifive.com/garage/55%20Chevy%20Assembly%20Manual/9-4.gif
The assembly numbers are different because the ring is part of the 210 assy and the the horn cap cup is part of the 150 assy.

I believe your right. It has a ribbed drop section that the 210 ring would cover on a 210. COOL!

According to the 1958 GM parts book the 150 & 210 wheels are the same for 55-56 models. The 150 caps are for 150 only and are the same 55 & 56. I have a cap and a wheel if you can't find one. The only question is I'm not sure I have all the horn parts. :confused0006:
